Private Porpoises - 4

Well, this is the fourth page of Private Porpoises posting. It is a little crazy, I know. If you are coming to the blog for the first time, start from the first Private Porpoises blog and move forward to the present.
Anyway, it is a gloomy-ass day here in NYC. I'm going to hunt down some mexican food.

Private Porpoises - 3

I've been really enjoying posting Private Porpoises on-line. I think as I go forward with the blog, Porpoises may be one of seeveral threads, that, along with the random sketches, all exist simultaneously. Over time, I think I would like to design this currently off-the-shelf blog into something that would help package these threads in a more intuitive way.

I will begin posting a serial graphic "novel" if you will today. Look forward to many images to come.

Mummies at Ease

Over the weekend I gave a lot of thought to the themes I feel are emerging in some of these drewrings.

Bear Saving a Lady Part 2

Here's the same image with some processing.

Bear Saving a Lady

I guess this is about the time that everybody starts thinking about a spring break.

Girl Walking Toward Fan

I have been looking through all my files, scattered here and there. I discovered this, my first flash piece.

Mummies vs. Planes

Here is another drawing I created on a plane. I was a bit worried about how other passangers would react to these type of drawings...but there was no problem.

There is something really fun about drawing battle scenes. You can totally zone out filling up the paper with different little fights.

Sea-Side Christmas

Sorry I have been away so long. I was on a much-needed holiday vacation. I wasn't able to muster the energy to go to Kinko's and scan any drewrings, but I did create a few rough sketches on the plane to my hometown for Christmas.

I hope 2006 will be creative and exciting. This is a picture of a magical holiday, sea-side Christmas.
