The Tiger and the Rainbow

Today I walked with New Yorkers from Brooklyn to Midtown Manhattan and back again due to the citywide transit strike. It was exciting to be hurled from my usual routine. Tonight I am feeling >>very<< relaxed after such a long walk in the cold. These type of displacements bring out the best in New Yorkers.

This is a picture reminiscent of my days of sledding with my friends C. and D. back on Mountaintop farm. Those were some of the best, most memorable days of my life.

I am starting my blog today!

I finally had a great idea for a blog. Well, maybe not great, but an idea that, when I thought of it, zipped through me, energizing me with a wild energy.

The idea is: a blog of my drawings. I have always been a person who loved to draw. But what can you do with drawings? I pooh-poohed my work, but I think the drawings will be a fun thing for a blog.

I am at work, and am going to scan a drawing I just did right now.
